Beansprouts Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the growth and development of children aged 6 months to 3 years. This is a dynamic position that requires creativity, empathy, and a genuine love for working with young children and the early years.

What we need from you...

  • At least level 3 qualified in childcare or similar

  • A nurturing, respectful and kind approach to childcare

  • Previous experience working with children aged 6 months to 3 years in a nursery or early years setting

  • Sound knowledge of child development theories, early years curriculum, and best practices in early childhood education

Daily responsibilities:

Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for children to explore, learn, and play.

Implement the child-led approach and Montessori-inspired principles, promoting independence, self-discovery, and a love for learning.

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities and experiences that cater to individual children's needs, interests, and abilities.

Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

Observe and assess children's progress and development, maintaining accurate records to inform individualised planning.

Support children's social and emotional well-being, providing guidance, encouragement, and positive behaviour management techniques.

Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed at all times, identifying and addressing any hazards or concerns promptly.

Create and maintain a stimulating and organised learning environment, including setting up learning materials and resources.

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, incorporating a range of learning experiences such as sensory play, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor activities.
